Our facilities & programs

Discover the heart of year-round recreation in the Bitterroot Valley. Our new facilities are designed to bring unparalleled opportunities for youth and families, fostering growth, community, and athletic excellence right here at home.

What we offer

The Bitterroot Valley Youth Sports Foundation is bringing a true year-round indoor space to our community. This facility will provide consistent access to sports and recreation for kids, families, schools, and local organizations, eliminating the struggle for limited gym time. We're excited to offer programs that keep our youth active, healthy, and connected right here at home.

Youth basketball leagues & training

Enjoy recreational leagues, AAU practices, shooting clinics, skills training, tournaments, and open gym opportunities for all ages. We're addressing the high demand for basketball in the valley, aiming to reduce late-night practices and extensive travel for families.

Volleyball programs & tournaments

Our facility will host club volleyball, youth leagues, camps, and regional tournaments. This is a significant addition, as indoor volleyball space is currently very limited across the valley, promising a major draw for enthusiasts.

Large community tournaments

We're excited to host weekend basketball and volleyball tournaments, attracting teams from across the region. These events will not only provide competitive play but also boost local businesses and foster community pride.

Solving real problems in our valley

Our new facility is specifically designed to address the long-standing challenges faced by youth sports in the Bitterroot Valley. We are creating solutions for limited space and inconvenient schedules, ensuring every child has the opportunity to play.

Ending late-night practices for kids

Many teams currently practice late into the evening due to overbooked school gyms, which disrupts school schedules, sleep, and family routines for younger athletes. Our additional courts will provide more reasonable practice times, prioritizing the well-being of our children and families.

Expanding gym space for all programs

Schools, AAU teams, recreational leagues, volleyball clubs, and community programs currently compete for very few gyms. This leads to scheduling conflicts and limits participation. Our facility will offer dedicated, year-round space, significantly expanding opportunities for all youth sports in the valley.

Bringing families together

Youth sports naturally create connections among parents, grandparents, coaches, and kids. Our centralized indoor facility will become a welcoming gathering place where families can spend quality time together, supporting one another, building friendships, and strengthening community bonds.

A safe & positive environment

Our facility will provide a safe and nurturing space for youth after school, on weekends, and throughout the long winter months. Organized recreation helps keep kids active, engaged, and surrounded by positive role models and mentors, fostering their development in a healthy setting.
